A YOUNG REDHEADED MAN walks through a thick brush in a forest on a distant planet. In his hand he carries a pistol. He is wearing a dark blue uniform with gold trim. His shoulder length locks are pulled back into a ponytail.
“Alright, Macon, where are you?” He mutters to himself.
“Harley, shut up.” The young man hears in his ear. “I ain’t that far away. Just head straight about a couple hundred meters. You should come to a clearing where the shuttle it.”
“Gotcha, Macon.” Harley responds. Then, he hears a growling sound nearby. The brush shakes as well. Harley stops in his tracks and listens intently.
Something’s not right here. Harley wonders. His teke powers sense a big powerful creature nearby. Stay calm, my big friend.
The creature rises to its feet. Harley looks up at the large reptilian creature with a long neck. The scales shimmer as light strikes it. Harley gulps as he slowly backs up.
The creature lowers its head towards Harley. He stands very still. He takes a deep breath. The creature’s bulging red eyes stare at Harley. There is a single horn on its long snout. Three horns emerge from the back of the creature’s head.
“Harley, time is short.” Macon says through the ear piece. “You need to get your ass moving.”
“I have a situation here.” Harley mutters through gritted teeth.
“Turn your camera on the glasses on.” Macon says.
Harley taps a button on the right side of the frames. A display pulls up on the glasses. “You seeing this thing, Macon?”
“Yeah, kid, I see it.” Harley hears. “Hold your position. Do not alarm the dragor. I am on my way.”
“Dragor?” Harley mutters. He lowers his pistol slowly and holsters it. He spreads out his arms.
The dragor crooks its head. It studies Harley. Then, it snorts. Air blows past Harley. Mucus follows the initial snort. It covers Harley’s face and torso. Harley turns and removes the mucus covering him.
“Ugh.” Harley says as he shakes mucus from his hands onto the ground. Then, he hears the roar of the shuttle above him.
The dragor’s eyes open wide. He roars and raises his head towards the shuttle. Anger comes from the dragor.
“Macon, get out of here!” Harley shouts as an energy begins to form inside the dragor’s mouth.

Here is a small exceprt, enjoy!
IT WAS LATE IN the evening; Elise is serving coffee to a strange gentleman at Lester’s Diner on the edge of the small town of Cyprus Falls. The strange gentleman sits like a statue wearing a fine dark blue Armani suit with black shiny shoes. Elise, a curly brunette waitress wearing a blue uniform trimmed in white with a white apron, senses something is off about the pale faced gentleman to whom she is serving. When the cup reaches half full he stops her.
"Thank you," his melodic voice says stoically. "That will be all."
Elise stops pouring the coffee and walks away feeling as though she has just been dismissed making her irked. She continues over to the counter where a couple of her coworkers, fellow waitresses, are staring at the strange pale faced gentleman, as if drooling over him. Elise looks at them rather quizzically.
“I could eat him up,” says the curly blonde waitress.
"I'd forget about him if I were you two," Elise says as her co-workers look at her with furrowed brows.
"Why is that?" Heather, he blonde shoulder length haired co-worker, asks as she drools over Elise's customer. "He's just so scrumptious. Look at his physique. Yum."
"Yeah, Elise," Kari Cook, her flame headed co-worker with green eyes, tells her. "He could just be having a bad day. That guy is hot."
"Well, maybe," Elise says after thinking about it for a second while sitting the coffee pot back in the burner to keep it warm. "But he was still rather smug and rude. Something is off about him."
The bell from the back dings and the cook shouts "Order from Tables 4 & 5 are ready!"
Quickly, Kari grabs a large tray to put the orders on. She looks at the orders and becomes queasy.
Ugh. My God, who could eat food cooked like this? She thought to herself.
The door from outside opens as another pale-faced gentleman enters. He is wearing a dark leather jacket with dark hair slicked back. He is also wearing blue jeans and rattlesnake skin boots.
“Mickey, is Devon here?”
“Yeah. He’s got a lot of dried blood on him.” Mickey says. Kelly nods her head with a few. Uh, huhs.
“In his room?” Kelly asks. She doesn’t even move as a one-armed Devon rushes into the living room.
“Get down!” Devon says as bullets fly into the apartment through the sliding glass door to the balcony.
Devon dives at Mickey. They fly over the couch as a bullet zips into the apartment. It hits Devon square into the same shoulder already hurt.
Mickey gasps for air. “Get off me, you big oaf!” He rolls Devon off him and, then, notices the bullet wound. “Shit! Man! You saved my life.”
