I am about to put my publishing schedules for this year on hiatus.
I am going top reorganize the storylines for both * Metaverse Saga * and Odyssey * Star. I feel 2020 will be a big year for both as I relaunch ODYSSEY * STAR with some older stories that have new names and new edits. Odyssey * Star will publish quarterly throughout the year. There will be three serials and one stand alone story. There is a spot within the main timeline that all of these stories happen. I will ensure that that are shown in the timeline where they are supposed to be. I am writing this saga with serials and trilogies with a few single book stories. * Metaverse Saga * will be relaunched with new covers and new edits. This saga is intertwined throughout multiple series. Some of these books will get new names in the process. I am going to spend the rest of 2019 fixing these sagas and continue to write to get ahead in the books of both sagas. Even looking to relaunch the Southern Hospitality series. Southern Hospitality is my erotic paranormal series under the pen name Brien O'Raighne.

Yesterday, I finished the editing and formatting of the digital copy of Let the Games Begin (Mind Games #2).
I will be working on the paperback to accompany the digital copy on its release date. I still have to upload the digital copy to a couple of online platforms, either for distribution or sale. I have priced this book at $0.99 in the US and it will convert over to the other currencies in their home territories and on their representative sites, The prices of all the other books will drop back to the price of the Let the Games Begin (Mind Games #2). The price drop will not only affect the Metaverse Saga but will affect the Odyssey Star Saga as well. Furthermore, starting in March will be the release of the translations to the Metaverse and the Odyssey Star Sagas. I am an avid chronicler of stories. I work on a lot of stories at a time.
the Metaverse and Odyssey Star sagas are my main focus at this time. Therefore, I will cut back my schedule from the last couple of years to concentrate on quality of story not just quantity. Release Schedule... February 20th, 2019 - Let the Games Begin (Mind Games #2) May 22nd, 2019 - Being Hunted (the Phoenix Hunter #4) August 21st, 2019 - Curse of the Blood Moon (Moontripper #3) TBA - the Phoenix Hunter Collection: Books 1-4 TBA - Moontripper Trilogy TBA - Odyssey Star: Into the Fire (Odyssey Star #2) Stay tuned for more.... Been thinking of how I can rework the covers to make them more exciting and more like movie posters.
Not sure how I will pull it off but I will figure out a way. The book covers to me have no pizzazz. Yes, I created the covers. Yes, I drew the covers. But to me they do not pop like I want them to. Although, I hear that people like the cover to the Phoenix Hunter. I happen to like the cover to Mind Games myself as well as the Grimoire of Darkness cover. But I have not created the Odyssey Star: Into the Darkness cover because I am not satisfied with the cover itself. I have the basic layout I want but not satisfied with how the artwork turned out. Not sure one of the characters on the cover needs to be there or I am missing a character on the cover. Not sure.. Oh well, I am thinking aloud. A YOUNG REDHEADED MAN walks through a thick brush in a forest on a distant planet. In his hand he carries a pistol. He is wearing a dark blue uniform with gold trim. His shoulder length locks are pulled back into a ponytail. “Alright, Macon, where are you?” He mutters to himself. “Harley, shut up.” The young man hears in his ear. “I ain’t that far away. Just head straight about a couple hundred meters. You should come to a clearing where the shuttle it.” “Gotcha, Macon.” Harley responds. Then, he hears a growling sound nearby. The brush shakes as well. Harley stops in his tracks and listens intently. Something’s not right here. Harley wonders. His teke powers sense a big powerful creature nearby. Stay calm, my big friend. The creature rises to its feet. Harley looks up at the large reptilian creature with a long neck. The scales shimmer as light strikes it. Harley gulps as he slowly backs up. The creature lowers its head towards Harley. He stands very still. He takes a deep breath. The creature’s bulging red eyes stare at Harley. There is a single horn on its long snout. Three horns emerge from the back of the creature’s head. “Harley, time is short.” Macon says through the ear piece. “You need to get your ass moving.” “I have a situation here.” Harley mutters through gritted teeth. “Turn your camera on the glasses on.” Macon says. Harley taps a button on the right side of the frames. A display pulls up on the glasses. “You seeing this thing, Macon?” “Yeah, kid, I see it.” Harley hears. “Hold your position. Do not alarm the dragor. I am on my way.” “Dragor?” Harley mutters. He lowers his pistol slowly and holsters it. He spreads out his arms. The dragor crooks its head. It studies Harley. Then, it snorts. Air blows past Harley. Mucus follows the initial snort. It covers Harley’s face and torso. Harley turns and removes the mucus covering him. “Ugh.” Harley says as he shakes mucus from his hands onto the ground. Then, he hears the roar of the shuttle above him. The dragor’s eyes open wide. He roars and raises his head towards the shuttle. Anger comes from the dragor. “Macon, get out of here!” Harley shouts as an energy begins to form inside the dragor’s mouth. To be continued in ODYSSEY STAR: INTO THE UNKNOWN, published by Galaxia Press, out April 20, 2018! As I sit here and go through the work of moving all my books into one KDP account and doing some rebranding, I realize that the rebranding was not as necessary as I thought. I may go back and fix things but still tie them all together within the same saga but in separate subseries of the main series, if that makes any sense. Grimoire of Darkness is truly the third of the the Phoenix Hunter series, but it also has other characters crossover from Mind Games and Cyprus Falls Coven series. This book also leads into the next Moontripper book, Order of the Blue Moon. It is not easy to write an interconnected series with subseries of books as well, but I am finding it rather intriguing and challenging as well as a bit fun. Look for the METAVERSE Books Grimoire of Darkness (Metaverse: Phoenix Hunter #3) tomorrow and Order of the Blue Moon: A Moontripper Novel (Metaverse: Moontripper #2) on April 20th, 2018. There will soon be a change in the logos of all the books back to there respective subseries logos that are already created. They will coincide with the next release and update to the METAVERSE saga. Rogue Wolf features the main characters from both the Phoenix Hunter and First Moonlight, plus a few new characters will be introduced. Some will expand the cast of the Moontripper Saga and others may expand the cast of the Phoenix Hunter Saga. Here is a look at the first teaser of Rogue Wolf: NEXT MORNING… EVERYONE SIT IN THE small dining area of the Marriot for their complimentary continental breakfast. A few of Team Phoenix look tired, still. Brandon rises to get himself a refill on coffee. As he walks over to the coffee pot, he is stopped by a desk attendant in a maroon blazer. He is handed a note. Destiny watches carefully. She studies her brother’s reaction as she chomps on a piece of toast. She raises a brow seeing Brandon nod to the desk attendant. The desk attendant, a young guy with muscles and dark hair, walks away. Brandon gets his coffee and returns to the table. He drinks the coffee as he holds the note in the same hand. He is mulling over the note. Roxanne is the first to speak up. “What’s going on, baby? We all saw the desk attendant hand you a note.” “Oh, did you now?” Brandon sarcastically says. “This note?” He smacks it down on the table. There are two handwritten lines NOON. JONAH’S SEAFOOD. Destiny looks up. “What does it mean?” “It’s from the pack alpha here.” Brandon says. “The desk clerk is one of their runners. He knows we are here. He wants to meet.” “What does he want, baby?” Roxanne asks. Brandon sips his coffee. “Don’t know. But I guess we’ll find out at noon.” “Brandon, I don’t like this. Something feels wrong.” Destiny says. Chris chuckles. Destiny turns and glares at him. “Baby, just relax. We are in a strange town looking for people we have never met. We are going to have to ask questions and search for clues. Maybe they can help.” He chomps down on another bagel. Destiny shakes her head. “That may be, honey. But that still does not help me shake this feeling that things will, inevitably, go wrong.” Sandy turns to Destiny. Her tone is sarcastic. “Go wrong? Nevah, sugah.” She starts laughing. “Ha, ha, Sands.” Destiny says. “Anyways, who is the Alpha of the local pack.” “Andrew Bruossard.” Brandon answers. “Let’s worry about this later. Guys. I want to see how the Coogs did last night.” Been working on this one for some time. Now it has been published on Amazon. Yet the paperback is not yet ready. It will be soon enough. I am working on it as well as other books in the saga, such as the sequel to this book, Rogue Wolf, which, also, features Team Phoenix. I may at some time update the font on the front of this logo, but I am liking the logo just the way it is. You can only find it on Amazon right now. Find it here I have scheduled books to follow a certain pattern throughout the next couple of years. Reaching March 2019, so far. I am sure that things will go on further. This is all I have for now. There will be collections of books in each of the series as well.
Each series is set for now. Southern Paranormals
Southern Hospitality monthly in the online magazine Darkness Within eZine. These titles are not set in stone. But I believe them to be set up for some time. I believe in the story lines that I am working on. The Epilogue and interludes in these books will set up certain things that can happen down the line. Somethings may have far reaching effects in their series. There are more characters and stories to come in each of these series. Each series will expand and grow into their own wild and crazy universes with the possibility to cross over from one universe to the other. I have plenty of stories within me to keep these series going for a long time. Also, as I continue writing these series, I will find a way to get them put onto their own websites connected to this one. |
